On November 30, 2022, the 6th International Conference for Students and Young Scientists "Carpe Scientiam" was successfully held at Lomonosov Moscow State University. The conference was hosted by the Higher School of State Audit of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

The conference covered topics such as: 1) Multinational Corporations and Nations: Dialogue in the New Context; 2) New Patterns in International Trade; and 3) International Business Trends in the New Economic Model. The entire conference was conducted in English. Various international microdata sets and methods, including five major and medium-sized ones, were utilized to obtain benchmark results, along with a series of robustness tests and extended research based on previous studies. The research findings were highly praised by the conference committee after the presentation.
The conference was held both online and offline, with nearly 40 academic representatives and professors from universities across Europe, Asia, and other parts of the world in attendance. Scientists and young scholars from various countries shared their research and insights.

Chen Jueren, a student from the International Trade Class 1 of the 2021 cohort at the Economics Department of Shenzhen MSU-BIT University, delivered a presentation titled "Are Robots Promoting Deeper International Specialization?" Under the guidance of Professor Tian Yunhua and through collaborative efforts with team members, Chen and the team conducted research on the impact of industrial robots on international production division from the perspective of trade value addition. Using various international microdata sets and methods, they obtained benchmark results, performed robustness checks, and extended previous research, which led to significant conclusions. The conference committee highly praised the research findings presented.

At the conference, experts and scholars from the global scientific community reached a consensus that we are in an era of significant transformation. The global scientific community should focus on sustainable development, aim for common prosperity, and formulate practical measures to promote healthy development in international scientific fields. Chen Jueren remarked that the conference provided a deeper understanding of international trade, improved his English speaking and research skills, enhanced his awareness of global economic development trends, and helped clarify his career plans.
