
Ma Yulu, a member of the Communist Party of China, is an undergraduate student majoring in Economics at Shenzhen MSU-BIT University, Class of 2020. She currently serves as the Secretary of the Youth League Branch for the 2020 Economics class and is a member of the Student Union Presidium.
In her studies, Ma Yulu holds herself to high standards, maintaining a rigorous and disciplined approach to learning. She actively participates in class activities, and despite language challenges, she effectively communicates with her professors. She has received the First-Class Academic Scholarship and Third-Class Scholarship, ranking in the top 10% of her class. She passed both the CET-4 and CET-6 exams for English and Russian with high scores on her first attempt and has obtained the Level 1 Certificate in Russian as a Foreign Language. In terms of academic competitions, she has worked hard to expand her knowledge base and won First Prize in the Guangdong Province Comprehensive Game Theory Competition in Economics. With a clear vision for her future, she has been awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship for the "Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus Special Program" and is diligently preparing for her study abroad plans.
Having grown up under the care and guidance of the Party, Ma Yulu has always aspired to join the Communist Party of China. In the second half of 2020, she was selected as a candidate for Party membership and became a probationary member in late 2021. By December 2022, she was officially inducted as a Party member. Throughout this period, she actively studied and practiced the Party's theories and principles. During the 2020 National Day holiday, she visited the “40 Years of Reform and Opening-Up in Guangdong” exhibition, and in the summer of 2021, she participated in the "Remembering the Red Glories" Beijing Social Practice Program, which was recognized as the "2021 Outstanding Summer Practice Team."

In her work, Ma Yulu remains mindful of the responsibilities she carries as a student leader. As the head of the Learning and Innovation Department, she organized the "Inter-Class Symposium" in September 2020, facilitating academic exchanges between lower and upperclassmen. She also planned and led various events, including alumni sharing sessions and support activities for the CET-4 and CET-6 exams.


“The road ahead is long, and I will seek the truth above and below.” Reflecting on nearly two years of university life, Ma Yulu credits the care and guidance of her teachers and the selfless help of her classmates for her significant progress in both thought and study. Shenzhen MSU-BIT University has helped her mature and solidify her life goals and confidence. She hopes to continue striving for excellence and reach new heights in her academic journey!
