Biography
Professor Meng is the dean of Department of Economics, Shenzhen MSU-BIT University. He is a doctoral supervisor, recognized as a Beijing Distinguished Teaching Master, and holds the title of Chair Professor of International Trade and Multinational Operations. He is also a visiting professor at Paderborn University and Bayreuth University in Germany and serves as an editorial board member of the Review of Managerial Science journal. Previously, he was the Associate Dean of the School of Management and Economics at Beijing Institute of Technology, responsible for international accreditation and quality management, as well as undergraduate talent cultivation. Currently, he serves as the Chinese Director of the Department of Economics at Shenzhen MSU-BIT University.
His main research areas include cross-cultural management, multinational operations and strategy, and digital economy and governance. In recent years, he has led and completed more than ten national and provincial research projects funded by organizations such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education, the Sino-German Science Center, the European Union, and the German DFG. Recently, he has published over 50 academic papers in high-level journals, including Nankai Business Review, Journal of Management Engineering, Business Strategy and the Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, and Frontiers in Psychology. He has also authored five academic books and monographs. Additionally, he has undertaken two educational and teaching reform projects in Beijing and one educational reform project under the Ministry of Education.
