We are pleased to announce that at the 14th "Peak Time" National Business Simulation Competition, the team "Star Diamond Elite" from Shenzhen MSU-BIT University's Economics Department, consisting of undergraduates Wu Yuhao, Su Yinan, Yang Minghua, and Yang Qiqi, won the "Second Prize" and the "Peak Time Newcomer Award" at the national finals. Another team from our university's Economics Department, "Wind Start Team," made it to the semifinals and was composed of undergraduates Hou Junjie, Wang Zhipeng, Zhang Yunming, and Zhang Xinrui.

This year's finals were the largest in the history of the "Peak Time" National Business Simulation Competition, with over 1,700 teams participating in the preliminary rounds. After six months of preliminary rounds, semifinals, and finals, our "Star Diamond Elite" team advanced to the semifinals with the top position in the market segment. The finals featured several components, including English team presentations, business simulation videos, business decision-making, and judge Q&A. After five days and four nights of intense competition, the "Star Diamond Elite" team demonstrated sharp business acumen and outstanding innovation skills, showcasing the unique potential and talent of Shenzhen MSU-BIT students. Ultimately, the team won the "Second Prize" and the "Peak Time Newcomer Award."
This was Shenzhen MSU-BIT University's first participation in the "Peak Time" National Business Simulation Competition, which is supported by the world-renowned simulation education institution CESIM and the internationally renowned event "PEAK TIME," with Xi’an Jiaotong University as the host. The award ceremony was attended by CESIM Global CEO Mr. Veijo Kyösti, AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) representative Mr. Xu Guodong, and several experts and professors, who witnessed the momentous occasion.

Shenzhen MSU-BIT University's Economics Department fully leveraged its international education advantages, focusing on enhancing students' comprehensive qualities and global perspectives, fostering their innovative and practical skills, and using competitions to drive learning and excellence. We believe that more students from Shenzhen MSU-BIT's Economics Department will continue to experience the complexities of the business world, showcase their youth, refine themselves, and achieve growth and honor in international competitions.

About the "Peak Time" National Business Simulation Competition:
The "Peak Time" competition originates from the globally renowned business simulation competition PEAK TIME from Northern Europe, organized by the Nordic Simulation Teaching Alliance Center. Since being introduced to China in 2008, the "Peak Time" competition has successfully held fourteen national events, attracting nearly 300 institutions and tens of thousands of students from across the country. The competition aims to enhance students' ability to apply business skills and soft skills comprehensively, stimulate students' proactive learning, and integrate explicit and tacit knowledge of business management. Through the competition, institutions gain more experience in international exchanges, and "Peak Time" is establishing a platform for domestic and international communication. The competition has become a well-known international business simulation event.
