Recently, the China Information Economics Society announced the winners of the "2022 China Information Economics Society Innovation Achievement Awards." Professor Chen Bo from the Economics Department at Shenzhen MSU-BIT University has been honored with the award for his research paper titled "Information Disclosure Policies in Dynamic Research Contests," published in the *RAND Journal of Economics* (a top-tier economics journal). The award ceremony is scheduled to take place in July 2023.
This year, there was strong enthusiasm for the innovation achievement awards, with intense competition. After three rounds of review by the Society's expert committee, a total of six papers from both the Information Economics and Information Management groups were selected for the awards.

The China Information Economics Society was established in March 1989 and is a national first-class academic research organization under the supervision of the Ministry of Education. The Society has long been dedicated to building interdisciplinary bridges for theoretical innovation in the fields of information economics and information management in China. It focuses on promoting the development of Chinese economics in areas such as principal-agent theory, mechanism design, and search theory, as well as advancing Chinese management science in theories related to internet economy management, information systems management, and e-commerce. The Society plays a significant role in fostering interdisciplinary innovation in information economics and information management within the Chinese internet environment and holds considerable influence in the field of information systems.
To encourage and promote theoretical innovation and academic contributions in the fields of information economics and information management in China, the Society established the China Information Economics Theory Contribution Award and the Youth Innovation Award in 2015. In 2019, these two awards were merged into the China Information Economics Outstanding Achievement Award, which aims to recognize the most influential outstanding achievements in the field of information economics and information management in China for that year. The award has now become one of the most academically influential awards in the field of information economics and information management in China.
