In accordance with the University’s development needs, faculty members are now openly recruited for the Faculty of Biology in the fields of ecology, protistology, and environmental microbiology. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
1.Fields of Specialization
Candidates must demonstrate a solid academic background in one or more of the following areas:
• Ecology of Unicellular Organisms / Protistology (focus on protozoa, microeukaryotes, and their functional roles);
• Soil Microbial Ecology and Soil Zoology (interactions between microorganisms and soil fauna and plants, nutrient cycling, and soil food webs);
• Aquatic Microbial Ecology (freshwater or marine systems, from molecular to ecosystem scales);
• Community Ecology (analysis of complex biological communities using network theory, null models, trait based approaches etc.);
• Biodiversity and Macroecology (development of global databases, integration with large scale planetary processes and macroecological patterns);
• Paleoecology (reconstruction of past environments using microbial proxies, ancient DNA, or micropaleontological records);
• Urban Microbiome (microbial communities in built environments, their dynamics and impacts on human health);
• Microbial Toxicology (ecotoxicological effects of pollutants on microorganisms, including mechanisms and risk assessment).
2.Job Requirements
(1) Basic Requirements
Possess strong political integrity and moral character. Abide by laws and regulations, demonstrate professional conduct, and maintain both physical and mental well-being.
(2) Language Proficiency
Excellent command of English (both spoken and written), sufficient to teach in English and supervise international students. Knowledge of Russian would be considered an asset.

3.How to Apply
(1) Application Materials

The statement should outline past achievements, current projects, and a 3-year research plan. Applicants for Associate Professor positions should also describe the methodological approaches they plan to adopt, such as AI/statistical tools, molecular approaches, etc., in relation to their proposed research.
d)Teaching Statement (1–2 pages) – describing teaching philosophy, experience with instruction in English, and mentorship strategies.

一、招聘领域

（五）生物多样性与宏生态学，包括全球数据库建设，以及与大尺度地球过程和宏生态格局的整合研究；
（六）古生态学，利用微生物替代指标、古DNA或微体古生物记录重建过去环境；
（七）城市微生物组，关注建成环境中的微生物群落、其动态变化及对人类健康的影响；
（八）微生物毒理学，研究污染物对微生物的生态毒理效应，包括作用机制与风险评估。
二、岗位要求
（一）基本条件
具有良好的政治素质和思想品德，遵纪守法，品行端正，身心健康。
（二）语言能力
应聘者应具备熟练的英语听、说、读、写能力，能够胜任英文授课及国际学生指导工作。具备俄语能力者优先。
（三）专业条件
