Education

1979 – 1985 Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Physics,

1991 – PHD in Physics and Mathematics,

2017 - Diploma of the Faculty of Pedagogical Education of Lomonosov Moscow State University "Creation of distance learning courses in the MOODLE system".

2023 – Doctor Habilitatus in physics and mathematics (Doctor of Science in Physics and Mathematics).

Work experience

From 1985 to the present – the Faculty of Physics of Lomonosov Moscow State University, since 2001 at the position of associate professor.

2006 – Title of Associate Professor.

Lecturing, conducting seminars and educational laboratory works on the course of general physics for students of the Chemical Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

1996 – 1999 – Rutgers University and New Jersey Institute of Technology (USA) – Visiting Professor.

From 1999 to the present, the Faculty of Physics of Lomonosov Moscow State University reading of his own author's courses of lectures on "Physics of solid-state sensors for molecular analysis", "Nanotechnology in sensors for molecular analysis" and "Nanotechnology in sensors for molecular analysis. Advanced course" (for students of the specialty, master's degree and postgraduate students).

2002 – authorship (together with a colleague) of lectures course "Physical basics of molecular electronics".

From 2009 to the present, visiting lecturer at Chemical and Physical Departments of Moscow State University branch in Baku (Azerbaijan).

2011 – 2016 MGIMO University of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, reading a self-developed two-semester course of lectures "General Physics for ecologists" at the Faculty of Applied Economics and Commerce for students engaged in the program "Ecology and Nature Management",

2019 – recording of video lectures course "Nanotechnology in sensors for molecular analysis" for the educational portal "Lecture Hall of scientists of Moscow State University TEACH-IN",

2019 recording of a cycle of webinars (50 hours) in physics for school graduates and university applicants on the platform "Intercollegiate platform of electronic education Universarium". Repeated participation in the conduct of entrance exams and Olympiads, as well as state exams at Lomonosov Moscow State University. Scientific supervisor of 16 term papers, 17 graduate works and 4 PhD theses.

Starting 2024, lectures, seminars and laboratory works at Chemical Department of Shenzhen MSU-BIT University: Shenzhen, Guangdong, CN.

Scientific Achievements

More than 220 scientific publications, 8 patents, more than 100 reports at domestic and international conferences.

Repeatedly participated in the work on grants of the RFBR and the Russian National Fund. Worked in the USA at the invitation of the US National Research Council under the program "Collaboration in Basic Science and Engineering" and later on grants from NASA “Mission to Planet Earth" and from the MIT Center for Airborne Organics.

Scientific Interests

Molecular electronics, nanophotonics, sensors, surface and thin films physics.

Achievements in Pedagogical Activity

39 years of teaching activity. Twelve original textbooks have been published (co-authored with colleagues): "Physical fundamentals of molecular Electronics", "Infrared Fourier Spectrometry", "General Physics Practical Work for the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University", "General Physics: laboratory tasks for universities. Scientific School: Lomonosov Moscow State University", "Modern infrared spectroscopy: basic principles, methods and instrumentation", "Optics: infrared Fourier spectrometry for universities. Scientific School: Lomonosov Moscow State University", "Optics: Infrared Fourier spectrometry. Author's textbook", "Microelectronics: fundamentals of molecular electronics. Author's textbook", "General Physics: Laboratory tasks for academic bachelor's degree", "Physics: Laboratory tasks. Textbook for professional education". "Optics: Fundamentals of infrared Fourier spectrometry. Textbook for professional education", "Modern infrared spectroscopy: fundamentals, methods, instrument base". Some of these books (5 pcs.) have successfully passed 7 reprints.

Author of more than 25 methodological manuals for laboratory works for MSU students.

2019 and 2023 – victories in the competition "The best special course of lectures" at the Faculty of Physics of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Awarded the honorary title "Honorary Worker of Education of the Russian Federation".

Awarded the highest award of Moscow State University – M. V. Lomonosov Prize for pedagogical activity.

Editorial Activity

2011 – 2018 – Editor of the journal ”Crystallography".

From 2012 to the present scientific editor of a big number of Russian and translated monographs,

Diplomas of the American Chemical Society (ACS), Elsevier and MDPI publishers for active work as articles reviewer.
